"Early C19, 3 storeys, scored stucco. The Lowther Arms has panelled door and fanlight in chamfered stone architrave, it has 1 sash window on each floor to Queen Street, and 2 on each floor to Brook Street. No 4 has a shop front and yard entry on the ground floor, a 16-paned sash window on the first floor, a similar window on the second floor, and a narrow 8-paned sash on the top floor."
